Not to mention that upgrading those lines would take far longer and cost far more than what UP is doing now to fix the problem.

Why fix 2 bridges when all they need to do is fix the one that burned and be done with it?

Traffic seems to be moving pretty well in spite of all the railfan angst to the contrary.
