A few points about the Fun/Snow Train:

It is a charter train operated by Amtrak for Key Holidays.

As for the more mature aspects of the train, those tend to be frowned upon. I know of several incidents where people (both genders) were asked to save that kind of behavior for somewhere other than the train.

The two trains did attract different groups. The Fun trains were (at least on the way to Reno) real party crowds at times. The Snow trains seemed to have a more laid back patronage.

Reno/Sparks as a whole needs to figure out how to entice folks back to town. With the growth of Indian gaming in California, that is the real issue.

Don't count the Fun Train out just yet.
