Portland, Oregon's own former SP GS4 "Daylight" 4-8-4 #4449 highballs through the Fisher's Landing area of Vancouver, Wash. July 3 on its way east to Owosso, Mich. The Northern will take part in the Steam Railroading Institute's annual Train Festival.

Behind the 4449 and its auxiliary tender are an Amtrak P42-9DC; BNSF baggage car "Glorieta Pass"; North Star Rail's ex-MILW sleeper "Minnesota River" and "Super Dome" #53; PVs MKT #403, NYC #3, "Chapel Hill", and "Caritas"; former PRR sleeper-lounge "Colonial Crafts"; and three former "California Zephyr" cars -- dome coach "Silver Lariat", 10-6 sleeper "Silver Rapids", and dome-sleeper-observation "Silver Solarium".
