After two days of investigating local scrapyards, I am happy to report that one-half of the missing parts have been recovered and one of the culprits identified through good record keeping and video surveilance by the scrap dealer. The fact that exactly one-half of the material was recovered leads us to believe that there were two druggies who split the loot.

Portland Police have issued a description of the yet to be recovered material and hopefully arrests will be made yet today.
