But can't we wait for the investigators to at come up with at least a preliminary sense of the cause, before we all jump to conclusions about who or what is at fault. And then also wait for that before we jump to more conclusions about what will be done about it.

In other words - it was the chronic undisciplined reporting of wild unsubstantiated speculation, on every subject under the sun as though it were fact; that has led to the near demise of the news media as we know it. So - let's quit trying to do the same here (as we did re. the MetroLink and WMATA accidents), and thus ruin this news source as well!
