Bruce:
That bay window(ex MILW) caboose that sits in the St Maries yard is the twin to the one they used on the line. I belive the numbers (STMA) are/were 995 and 996. They use this bay window occasionally as a M.O.W. car, but the other one is the one they used regularly on the branch line to Bovill. I believe it was in '93 or '94 they swapped it for the BN cupola caboose and as part of the deal it was painted at the St Maries shops in Milwaukee colors (with logos) and sent to the fairgounds in Spokane. The St Maries kept the 996 (bay window) and gave the BN (cupola window) the number 997. I have photos of all three and wish i could post them here, but do not know how?!
regards,
Rolland
