I'm pretty sure those are the two reefers at the packing shed just below Famoso on the west side of Hwy 99. They are painted gray IIRC and they are on trucks and rails but they are not in service. I probably have photos of them somewhere on film, taken years before they were painted gray. I haven't shot them since I started shooting digitally around 1998 although I drive by them several times a year on my treks from L.A. to Nor Cal and they have been there for as long as I can remember. I always thought the flimsy contraption on the roof was some sort of makeshift antenna of some sort. But I have no idea what it really is.
