In 2005, I rented an SUV from Avis three times---each time it was the same car. Up to Portland for the NRHS Convention and chasing a McCloud Freight, to Williams for the GCRy double-header, and a third trip to a forgotten destination, totaling close to 14,000 miles. I often wonder who the unsuspecting person was who bought that thing from Avis. I would have NEVER driven a vehicle I owned the way I drove that thing.
