WE just took the grandkids to ride the steam train at Roaring Camp last Tuesday. A delightful ride behind the old Shay Dixiana. We have also taken the train to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk several times and it is a great ride as well. One way to do it is to drop people off at the train in Felton and then drive over to Santa Cruz to meet them and have the car there so you can leave when you want.
