Nate,

We walked into the office and we were directed to the yardmaster who had us sign a release. We were just told to be careful and stay off the equipment. During the next hour or so, the yardmaster twice came out and told us what was moving on the railroad including the impending arrival of #318. Some of the other employees were also very helpful, telling us about the railroad and other equipment.

The next morning, we were at Prescott, WI waiting for #4449 and found the yardmaster doing the same. By his own admission, he is an unabashed railfan.

UP should take note.
