The Ex SP GP9 is still on the property, but was cycled through Ceeco either late last year or early this year and has since been repainted and renumbered. It still retains its full SP light show.

As an aside, Mr. Samuels, did police ever recover the rest of the journal brasses and how is the restoration of the ex SP 4622,1127, ex LINC 81 SW8 coming along? While I am saddened that this unit will no longer be wearing its Northern Pacific inspired paint scheme (I grew up watching this unit switching industries around my fathers employer in Vancouver), I take great interest in your efforts in restoring all of these historical units. I know that it will look as good as new when your finished, and here's to seeing the NW5 restored as well. Such a rare locomotive deserves to have its dignity returned.
