That article is old, probably over a year old...

Tacoma and Fife Eastern is apparently the fictional name they're going to apply to the short piece of display track they're putting the gutted shell on. CEECO recently took everything worth taking out of the loco, and slapped a nice paint job on the empty husk of a shell. Looks good, but the ony way she'll move under her own power again is if Fife has an earthquake.

Very sad and pitiful destruction of what could have been a historic artifact.
