That article came out I believe in November of 2008 shortly after the purchase of the 684 by the city of Fife from the city of Tacoma.

At that time there was a bunch of hoopla by Mike Seeger, owner of Fife Flowers, about a website on the T&FE (or TF&E?) which never materialized. I believe it is Mr. Seeger and some others who are trying to restore the caboose that will accompany the 684 at its final resting place in Dacca Park.

My understanding was that they would have the display finished for the Fife Harvest Festival in October. Anyone up in that area know if they've even laid any track yet?...it's already August...better start spikin'!!!
