What's That Train?

In the titles for the old (b/w, original) Maverick TV show? Not a 4-4-0; and the scenery didn't look very Sierra-ish -- more deserty. Could it be the Owens Valley n.g. line? None of the shots showed much track.

The show made a reappearance on an old-movie channel over the weekend. Kind of interesting actually, and despite being b/w the picture was pretty clear unlike many old TV shows. Scenes (at least for these 2 episodes) were more on riverboats than on trains.
