Author: Bob Kelly
Date: 08-25-2009 - 21:02

The annual GN Day in Skykomish is September 19th, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
No registration, just show up at the musuem if interested. We only have 40 chairs, so the first 40 get a chair. Doors open at 9:00 am.

Detours on Sky streets are common as they continue the clean-up. After crossing the bridge traffic may be forced left or right. Parking will be by the school.

Lunch will be available at the Community Center like past years. This will be a "build your own sandwich, drink, chips, fruit and cookies" cost will be $8.00

The program topics will include:
Updates on new collection items in the museum
GNRHS updates, Clean-up status
Review of GN stations on the west side of Stevens Pass
At lunch time will be provided to look around town
Empire Builder Radio Program History
The famous "Show and Tell", so bring items to show or tell about.

Some display space will be available, so feel free to bring models, photos or whatever to share/display.

GN Caboose X228 will be back on its track, in a new location, and will be open for inspection at the end of the program.
