This is Alaska RR's Coastal Classic about 30 miles south of Anchorage at 9:47 pm on 8/22/09. It was totally overcast and thus quite dark. The train makes a round trip Anchorage to Steward daily in the summer. The "coast" is of Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet as the picture shows. The S70MAC is #4328. The second car, a modified baggage car provides the HEP. The Camera, a Cannon EOS 5D Mark II, was hand held at ISO 1600, F5.6, and 1/100. Digital photography is great. Couldn't do this with Kadachrome.
