Meeker Southern in Puyallup Storing cars?

Out in Puyallup yesterday and on to Orting.

Crossing at Pioneer I looked South and saw rail car on the Meeker Southern.

While going South on highway towards Orting saw 5 or 6 boxcars. The cars were not at the end of the line, so wondering why Meeker Southern would have railcars parked there?
