The ex-MILW trackage of the CBRW does reach the industrial park immediately south of Grant County airport, but no direct business is for Boeing. There are currently 3 intermittant shippers at the Park and 2 or 3 "downtown", so a run is made that far only about once a week. There is a plan to route from Wheeler straight accross, but that will only be a "concept" at this point to allow an Environmental Assessment to be made. The actual connection is still at least a couple of years off (if ever). There is no current plan to branch off of the old BN to reach the site, although a very preliminary look at re-connecting back up to Adrian (and actually a parallel route all the way west to Quincy) was looked at 2 years ago but was taken off the table really fast.
