Mr. Kepler-
Yeah, I guess you could say I knew this guy ! (grin)
I lived with him in the house in East Oakland, in the 'Fruitvale' neighborhood,
for the first FOURTEEN years of my life. I was the envy, I guess, of every kid
in school because of what was located in our big basement (45 x 32 feet)..
"Little KRK" had an SP 'steam' railroad empire in miniature ! (grin)
There were MANY different wheel arrangements that he built over the years.
Most were fired by denatured alcohol in a special "vaporizing-type" burner he designed himself.
(0-6-0, 2-8-0, 2-8-2, 4-6-2, 0-4-2, 2-4-4T, 2-4-2, 0-4-0, 6-2-0 and several others)
