Right now, it's just planned to be a switch. We had a 1000' siding planned, but the County cut it out (for now) as a cost saving. This will be OK if the lines ends up with a single operator OR if the Spur operator is allowed to go to Cheney. The BNSF has made it very clear though that it only wants to interchange with ONE shortline at Cheney. If WRIX continues to operate the Spur and not go to Cheney, they will have to shove out to the junction and make a headlight meet with the CW operator to interchange unless they put that siding in or make a light move in one direction.

The potential operators of the CW (and the P&L) have all been given the chance to see the properties and either have or have sent in their proposals. the choices are supposed to be made before the end of May and (I guess) be in place in time for the shipments in the fall.
