NP 2187 in Tacoma

I thought it might be interesting to show the image I posted before, and one taken right after dad got out of the army in 1946, same location, same engine!

The "Harbor Scoot", train to Aberdeen and Hoquiam Washington, as seen just after WWII, 1946. The train's last run was 10 years in the future.

And in 1951, note 2187 now has angled number boards, which, depending on your viewpoint, looked great, or ruined its looks. Also, I believe she has a different stack.
