SP, or variety of railroads?

I am working on a new "coffeetable" book of railroad photograpy and am having trouble sifting thru about 300 photos to get down to about 150. My question is, as potential readers, are people more interested in seeing a lot of SP (1980s-1990s era, mostly around Oregon) or do you want more of a variety -- shots from all over the West Coast and Western Canada and Midwestern scenes too..BN, UP, W&P, CN, CP, RailAmerica, Amtrak, Puget Sound & Pacific, Central Oregon & Pacific, Port of Tillamook Bay, etc. In general, would you prefer a book with images of say 20 different railroads, or would I be wiser to focus on the bigs, like SP, BN/BNSF, UP... any thoughts?
Same question regarding geography -- should I limit the covered area to the Northwest, or include other photos from North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan...
any insights/ comments are appreciated. Thanks, - Jesse
