Sam, here's a couple pictures of the Flexliner taken at Eugene, Oregon when I was running it on Amtrak trains 1753 and 1756 on the SP on May 17, 1997. My daughter came along with me and she thought it was pretty neat. I liked it except for the horrible alertor which was discussed in the last two entries on the TO.com page at [www.trainorders.com]. We arrived in Eugene at 3:02 PM and departed at 5:00 PM. Sorry for the poor picture quality. The camera I had with me was an early model digital with low resolution. Amtrak engineer Larry Spring kindly took the picture of us standing in front of the Amtrak 7001 at the Eugene depot.
