It's good that work is finally starting on getting the Coos Bay
line going again. On a recent trip it was disappointing to learn
that the Swanson mill at Noti wasn't loading rail cars. I thought
it would still be using rail since it's only a few miles from Eugene
and not affected by the tunnel problems. Even after repairs are
completed the Coos Bay branch will still only have a few shippers
left. Hopefully it will be enough.
