Poles and their loads

From far away, I offer the following:

The overhead contact system is supported by the poles between the tracks, and what, from this distance, appears to be many poles at the stations. All belong to the rail system.

The pole on the far right appears to be the same vintage as the viaduct, with ornate base, collar, and top. Most likely carried a streetlight and arm of that vintage. The present arm and fixture are of a later generation. All belong to the street agency.
