Virginia & Truckee Railfan Day

Just a heads up that on March 15, 2010 there will be the first annual Virginia & Truckee Railfan Day scheduled the day after Winterrail in Stockton. This gives those folks attending Winterrail the opportunity to take in this event in Virginia City.

There will be a morning charter train and an afternoon train that will run all the way to end of rail near Carson City. Each train will have a different classic consist for the photographers. Plenty of photo run-bys will be made. A night photo session is included and workshop visits.
