When we rode from Minneapolis to Portland last month behind the 4449, the Goombay Sunrise was part of the private car consist. The person who worked for Greenbrier who was very involved with the building of the car was aboard our train in our group. He told us his version of its building. And his opinion etc. The car is for sale for, I believe, $800K. My personal recollection of the provenance of this car is that Greenbrier built it from the ground up, but I may be wrong.
