I remember a few years ago something called Oakdale Terminal(?) filed with the STB to run that SP trackage. It sounds like that never happened.

Does UP still do good enough business there? Because it seems like it would be a lot easier to hand over that trackage to Sierra, especially now that they're running the Santa Fe to Riverbank. And I also wonder if it would make any sense to build a connection between the Tidewater Southern and Santa Fe at Escalon, and have Sierra run the north end of the TS.
