UP Locomotive 1982 leads the David A. Connell UP Engineering Inspection Special Northward across the CSX R.R. X-ing at Salem, IL on UP's Salem Subdivision on November 19, 2009 as UP Train Symbol SNLWG 19. This train orriginated at North Little Rock, AR and will tie-up for the night at West Chicago, IL. The 3 cars behind the locomotive were picked up in El Paso. TX after those cars were used on various Operation Livesaver Special Trains in the past month on various places on UP's Southern Region. It should also be noted that UP1982 was placed on this train at Ft. Worth, TX as UP1988 (The Katy Heritage Painted Locomotive) lead the train from its origin at Council Bluffs, IA a few weeks earlier, was taken off there. It would be safe to say that this is UP's modern version of the City of Everywhere train of 1971 and beyond.
