Key System/SP Now Part 4 actually Alameda

This picture is not actually of Key System or SP history but rather the old Alameda Belt Line ROW along Atlantic Ave looking away from NAS Alameda (it will always be NAS Alameda to me!). Growing up I remember once following a train in the car with my grandfather along the line to the gates of the base. It has always struck me as to how wide the ROW is. Was there at one time more than one set of rails on the ROW. Also does anyone have pictures of any trains on this part of the ABL? I have never seen pictures of this end of the system and also pictures of the extensive rail network on the base. I would suppose that during WWII and Korea there was a lot of rail traffic on this line.
