Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but could the very cold weather have contributed to the curve being out of gauge?

Meanwhile, we still have this weekend's Holiday Express to enjoy with the 4449. It's a great thing when organizations such as PRPA and Friends of 4449 can match the best efforts of a railroad such as Union Pacific and have so much big steam ready to roll.

And even better that we Portland-area railfans get to enjoy them...
