I personally hand craft my protest signs out of frozen cherry Jello. Besides being flashy with the bright red color, you can eat them when you're all done. But you gotta protect the handles so they don't melt from the heat of your hands, so I wear a special pair of refrigrated gloves for that. But, in Tibet you don't need those since the cold air alone keeps the signs frozen.
