Wow! Beautiful shot. The Transamerica Pyramid building was completed in 1972 and so SP was still running the FM Trainmasters at that point.
That year I was in high school and the friction clutch on my mini-bike was a Fairbanks-Morse.
Back then kids found a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine and bought a frame and wheel kit.
Thus was born the mini-bike.
Twist the grip to increase the RPM and that F-M clutch grabbed hold of the sprocket and away you go.
