True, but I thought they discontinued sending Trainmasters out on weekend frieghts early in the 1960s. I'm not aware that they did this later in life. I have seen a photo of a Trainmaster itself pulling a freight on the Peninsula in the 1970s, but I don't believe the ventured beyond San Jose after fairly early in the Trainmaster era. The SDP45s and GP40P-2s did venture out on the weekends into the Caltrain era in the 1980s as stated though. Of course they were permanently assigned to frieghts during the intermim time that SP leased the Amtrak P30CHs for commute service.
