BNSF Santa Train Vancouver

I have read that SP&S 700 kept derailing on the curve at the Brooklyn Roundhouse and never did make it over to Vancouver.

So, what happened to the BNSF Santa Train? Did they run it at all? (I sure hope so, or they had a bunch of annoyed people on their hands...) What was the power and what did they use for the train?
