In the City Hall there were once a fine set of pix of st cars on Arlington line apparently when the st was first paved. Also a map including AT&SF right of way where I-80 is now .. which was then tidal land...Also a map of the Berkeley Harbor Belt RR, if memory serves .. (SP industrial trackage running a block west of the mainline.) A Company was published in Moody's...Someone might see if the archives still retain these treasures...== Surprise events of mid 30's .. A 1200 series SP steam locomotive bringing ballast to downtown Berkeley .. Key trains running on Shattuck for the Cal-Stanford football crowd...some time after regular service had been abandoned and a SP electric 700 series mail car tied into a regurlar train going out to Thousand Oaks..
