Peter,

Kind of hard to tell without being able to read the numbers but the car next to the tunnel motor looks like a rebuilt C-40-4, which were originally built by PC&F in 1961. They were rebuilt (modernized) by the SP around 1974.

The nearest caboose looks to be a 4600 series C-50-8, which were built by the International Car division of PACCAR in 1979.
