Hey Bruce - Those are shells for reefers. They are literally shells, no insulation or interior whatsoever, with the holes cut for the refrigeration unit on the ends, and railings minus the platform, no doors on the sides, etc. During spring break I spent an afternoon at Wawawai and there was about 3-dozen of them stored in the siding there, all had CRYX reporting marks. The Downriver job had about half-dozen of them on the head end (westbound) this last Monday as well. I don't know anymore of the story, I've been curious as well.
