Reefer Manufacturing & UP SD9043s

All of those Reefer shells will eventually make their way back to Gunderson NW at Finley where the manufacturing process will be completed and they will hit the rails as new mechanical reefers.

The UP SD9043s seem to have found a home up here. Many of the Washy & SI trains have a pure consist of two or three of them. I just wish we would see some of the SD9060s up here again.

Speculation is that the UP is trying to concentrate their newer GE EVO units and SD70ACEs in California for environmental reasons.
