I don't believe SP 200 was ever used in the Bay Area but was instead shipped off to the Pacific Electric. I also don't believe that the SP freight house at Ward Street in South Berkeley had electrified tracks. Freight shipments were handled by Steam locomotives.
There was photographic evidence of overhead catenary running into the Chevrolet plant at 73rd Avenue from the Red Train mainline, but no evidence it was ever used.
Maybe some more knowledgable person might know. Dr. Zarkoff, per chance .
