Industry Door Service

I grew up being familiar with railroads providing switching service to industries but time has changed things and that is eliminated for the most part. I can easily be bored by unit tank or intermodal trains and long for days of old. I find small scale switching at Sims (Levin) metals in Richmond, but would like to have info on better switching op`s. around if anyone can provide.
