#48 in Sacramento, but not where youd think

...as of about 4:35pm tonight Sierra #48 was parked on the stub end of the former SP "R" Street line just geographic west of the UP Elvas main line at Brighton. Only about 200 yards remain, to give enough room to switch the industrial spur serving the lumber company right under Hwy 50. The remainder of the right of way is now all Regional Transit light rail.

Curiously, two SPMW Jordan snow-fighting spreaders were parked next to #48 on another spur.
