The WP 94 had a white stripe around the running boards before it was painted with gold leaf over the white trim and lettering on the tender in the early 1950s for a rail show in San Francisco by the Western Pacific Railroad. Bruce if you look at old photos of 94 before 1950 you will see a white stripe, after 1950 you will see gold leaf. All Rio Vista did was make the locomotive historically correct. Both The WP 94 and 334 are inside out of the weather and I believe there are plans to display both locomotives together at the Western Railway Museum inside Barn 3.......
