If I remember correctly the Special loaded at the old depot then backed around the loop crossed the ATSF main and up the hill to the new switch then out on the main. It then ran forward on the new line cutting a banner across the tracks and out across the new bridge over the ATSF and the river. It then backed up to the switch and ran back to the old depot to unload. Refreshments were served on board for guests and passengers. Will have to look for the slides.
