A-Line fix

Subject to receiving a permit from the Corp of Engineers for in water work, Portland & Western Railroad will fix the dike/roadbed wash out near Knappa early this year after receiving a ODOT Shortline Infrastructure grant. This will make the Port of Astoria very happy as they work to market Tongue Point to various businessses.
Maybe, just maybe some freight business can materialize for Portland & Western from the Astoria end of the A-line.
Watch also what grants come out of ConnectOregon III in August. Multiple proposals have been submitted that would positively affect the A-Line.
It would be nice to have this message board stay with reality versus pipe dreams.
