I was driving to work this afternoon in northeast Portland and noticed the UP local on the Kenton Line in the siding at Parkrose waiting for a westbound grain train to clear. The power was a pair of 1200-series GP39-2s; #1201 was an ex-Katy unit, while #1246 was originally built for the Delaware & Hudson and later integrated into the Boston & Maine roster during the time that Guilford Rail Systems operated the D&H.
