I was hardly noticing stations or former stations as a 10 year old! Just bumps from old RR tracks - perhaps where Foothill Expressway is now?

Sometimes, if we stayed all afternoon, we'd stop for early dinner on the way home at a German beer-garden type place (good wurst!) in Los Altos. When the first segment of 85 opened (101 to 280) it sped up the trip considerably. By the time all of 280 opened up the Peninsula parish picnics were a thing of the past - though it did speed up the trips to college significantly. The trips home from college on early Amtrak (and Greyhound) would be another story...

Google does show a Blackberry Farms Golf Course and Retreat House (interesting combination) threaded through the mini-mansions along the creek. So something is left.
