The train ran with one freight-equipped GP9 (SP 3834 was the assigned unit) and one or two gallery cars from the Peninsula commute pool. It operated westbound in the evenings from LAUPT to Oxnard, then deaded to Montalvo to turn on the wye and returned to Oxnard. In the mornings it operated eastward to LAUPT. It was a demonstration project that was less than a smashing success, and SP was not at all happy about being forced to operate it. WAF probably has the dates.
