Yeah. A poor system, in my opinion, that was an occasional source of "confusion."

Here's a couple of photos of the control stand in an H16 and H20 from the web site rr-fallenflags.org. It's a little different than the one in an H12, but the throttle is the same. In the photos, the throttle handle is in the NEUTRAL position. Up was REVERSE, down was FORWARD.
