I'm not an expert on the variations of EMD power, but isn't the triangular vent toward the rear of the carbody a signature of an SDP-45? I don't have access to the roster numberings, I am simply working from memory and visual observation. I seem to recall the 3200s being passenger unit numberings. Whatever actual model number the carbody extension at the rear definitely identifies (steam generator) them as passenger models. Experts, here's your window of opportunity. BTW, nice monochromes, Steve. I remember the SDPs on the commute pool in the 70s here in San Jose.
